An Inspired Poem: Breakthrough

Fireflies

I chased fireflies in the dusk of doubt,
Tiny sparks against a world worn out.
Each flicker danced, a fleeting guide,
A whisper of wonder I couldn’t deny.

The road ahead was tangled, unclear,
Echoes of certainty drowned by fear.
But curiosity hummed, soft and low,
“Follow the glow - see where it’ll go.”

The light wasn’t steady, nor was my stride,
Yet I moved forward, pulled by the tide.
Each step I stumbled, each twist I turned,
Revealed a truth I’d yet to learn.

Certainty crumbled like sand in my hand,
Replaced by the thrill of not knowing the plan.
In the glow of the fireflies, I finally saw,
Breakthroughs live in the embrace of the raw.

No map, no compass, no guarantees,
Only the courage to trust the unseen.
I lit up inside as the world came alive,
Following what lights me, I began to thrive.

So here’s to the journey, the questions, the quest,
The moments of doubt that forge our best.
Chasing fireflies, I found my way -
A breakthrough born in the dance of the day.
