An Inspired Poem: Feeling Lost

Drifting in a sea of questions,
uncertain of where the shoreline lies,
I walk roads that once felt familiar,
but now dissolve beneath my feet.
The compass I once trusted
ambition, success, the path well-worn
now spins in endless circles,
pointing nowhere, whispering pause.
What can you do when you feel lost?
Not fight the fog, nor force the way,
but soften into stillness,
listen for the quiet glow within.
When the world blurs into shadow,
seek what sparks - what stirs - what sings.
Follow the embers of joy you buried,
the pull of curiosity once ignored.
For being lost is not an ending,
but an invitation to wander,
to remember the light that guides you home
was never outside - you carry it within.
